MN-ICECI’s Ongoing Activities
- Improve partnerships between different health providers to streamline care and minimize barriers for families with children ages 0-3.
- Shape the forms of investment and partnership that best support the flourishing of every African American child in Minnesota.
- Create partnerships between health care and early childhood education.
- Develop partnerships with organizations from a wide range of backgrounds and geographic locations that are serving African American children 0-3 and their families with the expressed purpose of strengthening cross-systems outcomes.
- Encouraging all early childhood systems to align and develop partnerships to create more holistic, equitable , and family-centered experiences for families and young children.
- Listening to and following the leadership of African American parents, cultural organizations, and communities.
